Lapidary
These little cabochons I lapidaried using a doping technique. These tiny rocks are perfect for setting in silver rings or embellishment for a wire wrapped stone.
This is a flat lap! Used for shaping and polishing rocks and cabochons.
Sourcing precious stone slabs to create beautiful cabochons.
This saw is great for cutting down large slabs. We also use the wet saw to cut open geodes.
Rock Tumbling
At Mother Tucker Home Goods many of our rocks in our Jewlery and Liquid Glass pieces are localy sourced.
This is our OG tumbler. Many batches have come out of this machine. Recently we have added a double barrel tumbler to our equipment.
Rolfe loves rocks. So much so I call him a self-taught Geologist. He has taught me many things these last few years. We spend lots of time going on rock hunts and tumbling our findings together.
Metal Working
When I first started this new craft I was drawn to copper. This is a carnelian stone set in copper -one of my favorite pieces I have made so far.
Having the right tool for the right project can make all the difference in the world. We have finally collected most everything you could ever need.
Currently our workspace is in my garage. We recently upgraded this space from my studio to the garage. Much more room for activities - with our team working hard to bring you new products.
